Pan seared Rainbow Trout (Farm raised locally by my great uncle) with local Barley and wild salad topped with fresh herbs.
On 26 of July, my wife and I stayed for unfortunately only one night on the wonderful campground just
beside your restaurant. In the evening we where so lucky to get this unbelievable good dinner as you
can see on the photos. Very fresh fish from the fjord with delicious natural herbs and the extremely
delicious Icelandic lamb with fresh herbs and a sauce that I never will forget. And I ask myself, how did
you prepare this miracle (I like cooking very much and sometimes I prepare lamb as well but I can’t
imagine how to make this sauce as you did!).
So sorry that your restaurant is so far away from Germany but next summer when we come back to
Iceland, we will certainly spend more then one evening in your wonderful restaurant.
